I've made an amazing budget beauty discovery; the NYC Individual Eyes Smokey Eye compact!! I was having a browse in Superdrug recently and I stumbled across this perfect eyeshadow palette which was on offer at the bargain price of £1.99 (normal price £3.99) so I had to snap it up and I'm really glad that I did.
The palette contains four eyeshadow shades, a primer base and a highlighter. I love taupe eyeshadow shades as they are so flattering and perfect for everyday and this palette really doesn't disappoint. I've been using the two brown/taupe shades the most & adding the highlighting silver shade & the defining black shimmer shade for a more dramatic smokey eye look when I'm going out in the evening. I love that everything I need for a number of looks in one palette & it is the perfect size to pop into your handbag or makeup bag. It's ideal for taking you from a one wash day time look to a more smokey eye for the evening.
I've been really impressed with the colour payoff as I've found the pigmentation of the shadows lasts all day even without the primer and they blend really well. I would really recommend this pallete, whether you're starting out with your make up collection or have an already established collection. I've been using this pallete every day for the last two weeks and I have been so impressed!
