THE LIFESTYLE EDIT: GEO-FLEUR

One of the reasons I love blogging, is the amazingly lovely and talented people I meet along the way, at events, on social media and through other bloggers and their beautiful blogs. I first came across geo-fleur just over a year ago on Stylonylon's Sunday Edit, I'd wanted to add some greenery to my home and I instantly loved the cute collection of succulents and geometric pots on the post and so we headed out on a very rainy Sunday in August to geo-fleur's stall on Chatsworth Road Market. I was so glad I did brave the rain that day as I got to meet the super lovely Sophie Lee, founder of geo-fleur and also discovered the most incredible donuts from Vicky's Donuts (Vicky's stall was next to Sophie). I came away that Sunday with the best donuts, a beautiful terrarium and signed up for a terrarium work shop at West Elm. Now my house is full of greenery and I've spread my love of West Elm and Vicky's Donuts!
geo-fleer was founded in 2014 by Sophie and specialises in beautiful geometric homewares. Sophie and her business partner Sally are botanical stylists, obsessed with adding greenery into any space, small or large. They also specialise in a range of workshops from macrame plant holders and terrariums to kokedama, events and bespoke work, including weddings.
geo-fleur are no longer at Chatsworth Market, as they have a beautiful new studio space in the E20 East Village a short walk from the Olympic Park and Westfield Stratford. Every time I visit the studio I honestly just want to buy everything and always leave with lots of gorgeous plants and severe peg board envy.
The studio has quickly become one of favourite spaces in London, always so lush and green, with a buzz of people buying lovely plants for their homes and there is often a super cute dog to keep you company (or lay on your feet) as you gaze at all the plants as geo-fleur love it when people bring their dogs to the studio. On this occasion I got to meet the super sweet #geofleurdog Molly! She is adorable and looked so happy amongst the plants.
It is fair to say that my plant collection has grown in more ways than one since I first met Sophie and my first visit to geo-fleur. I snapped up a stunning hand made Haws Copper Watering Can during geo-fleur's summer sale and when I went to the studio to collect it I couldn't help but pick up an incredible Monstera Deliciosa plant which I've now named Monty the Monstera (yes I know my imagination knows no bounds) and I also now have a gold, silver and copper concrete pot with a little succulent or cacti.
Another addition to my collection are some little Donkey Tail succulents (I had initially got a little muddled and thought they were called 'Monkey Tail'....d'oh!) as I they're now in season and I think they're beautiful. I hoping mine grow as well as the ones in the studio so I can put them up in hanging pots. The Fiddle-Leaf Fig was quoted in The New York Times as the 'it' plant of the design world. and the demand has been so high for these stunning green leaves that geo-fleur have commissioned a grower in Holland to grow some exclusively for them!
I've literally just ordered a brass Haws Plant Mister as there is a 20% promotion this bank holiday weekend, but you'll need to hurry as it finishes at midnight tonight! Just enter BANKHOL at the checkout.
How cute is this mini pineapple and this Pilea peperomioides or the Chinese Money Plant which reminds me a little of nasturtium leaves. A little Pilea cutting is the latest addition to my collection and I love it!
I love all my geo-fleur plants, they have made my home feel so homely, welcoming and healthy. I love gardening and it's been great to be able to bring that love into the home too.
geo-fleur also offers a plant post club, a monthly subscription service where subscribers can receive a monthly surprise of plants or planting accessories and importantly the monthly subscription box comes with full detailed instructions of how to keep your plant alive! Check out #PlantPostClub on Instragram to get a sneak peak of the gorgeous things people have been receiving in their box. The 20% discount is also valid on the subscription box so hurry!
Monty's cousin
geo-fleur's next project is a book on indoor gardening, due to be released next year and I'm so excited, I can't wait. By then I'm sure I'll have even more plants in my collection (I have my eye on a Boston Fern next) so I'm sure I'll need all the tips and plant advice I can get.

This is not an ad or a sponsored post, all plants and accessories have been bought with my own money and all opinions are my own.
