Essie 'Go Ginza' and 'A Cut Above'

Here's me trying something old, but something new for me (the 'feature finger nail polish look') with Essie's 'Go Ginza' and 'A Cut Above' and I quite like it, even if by now others are totally over it.

#Life lately

I hope you've all been having a good week. I had initially thought that this last week or so would be quiet, even potentially dull and I'd be able to tackle all the things on my to do list like going to the gym and get on top of all my life admin, but then somehow it turned out to be quite busy and sadly it seems the gym will have to wait till next week.......oh dear!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

I love Hourglass makeup so it will come no surprise that I love the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette and was very excited to see that Hourglass have now made it part of their permanent collection. I have the full sized Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light and I think it's one of the best everyday powders I have used, I love the finish it gives.

Review: Laura Mercier Long Lash Mascara

For years and years, I've been on the search for the perfect mascara and over that time I've lost count of how many I've tried and how much I've spent on mascaras ranging from drugstore finds to high end designer ones. I've found some good ones along the way, but I think finally the ideal everyday mascara has been found.......drumroll......the Laura Mercier Long Lash mascara in black.

Taste of London and Giveaway

On Saturday I spent an amazing day in the sunshine in Regent's Park at the Taste of London food and restaurant festival. It was such a great day as I got to spend time with my Mum and we had so much fun together drinking non-alcoholic Apple Mojitos and sampling lots of delicious food in the sun! I've
been going to this festival for a few years now and I think this year's one has been the best one yet!

Review: Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Cologne

As you may have gathered already from my recent posts and Instagram pictures, Peonies are my favourite flowers, so pretty with such a beautiful scent. So it was only logical really that I would succumb and purchase Jo Malone's Peony and Blush Suede Cologne. I'm absolutely loving the fragrance and thus has begun my love affair with Jo Malone, which I'm very happy about, but it may not be the best news for my bank account though.

Review: Lipstick Queen: Hot Rose Sinner

The Hot Rose Sinner from the Lipstick Queen's 90 Percent Pigment range, available at Space NK. The 90 Percent Pigment collection is described as  'All colour and no shimmer....a range for true lipstick lovers' and I couldn't agree more.

Review: The Bathory Detox Bath Salts

Having a long and relaxing soak in the bath is one of my absolute favourite things to do, I find it really helps me unwind, ease stresses away and I always sleep well after a good bath. I recently discovered The Bathory, where you can design your own bath salts and I was very excited and keen to try it out.

Flowers & Outfit of The Day

On Sunday I decided to cheer myself up and treat myself to some of my favourite flowers. So I headed down to Columbia Road Flower Market with my good friend and photographer Gerrod and I tried my hardest not to spend all my money by buying everything in sight! The pictures came out really well so I thought I would do a bit of an outfit of the day post too.

Review: & Other Stories Body Scrub Sugar Crush

Whilst having a browse in & Other Stories recently, I came across their range of body scrubs and  I had a fun time trying them out (there are large sinks in the store so you can try them out properly). The Sugar Crush scrub was my absolute favourite as it left my hands bright, soft and super smooth.

#aSweetNightOut - Pop-up Restaurant

As I mentioned in my #Life Lately post, I recently went along with friends to #aSweetNightOut, a pop up restaurant night at The Kitchen Table in Mill Lane, West Hampstead, London. The pop up restaurant is the creation of Sean and Megan Chambers and I had such a wonderful evening filled with the most delicious food and great company!

#Life Lately

I'm sorry I know I haven't been blogging that frequently lately, life has just been very up and down. I received some sad & difficult news not too long ago which has taken up a lot of my time and energy, work is super busy and on top of all that I've injured my hand, so I'm trying to rest it and due to all these things I haven't been able to blog as much as I'd like to. There have been a number of good things along the way though so I thought I would catch you up on them by doing a life lately post.

Review: Topshop Lip Bullet: Joyride

As soon I saw the colour of this Topshop lip bullet, I knew it would become a favourite and although I gave one away in my Christmas stocking giveaway I didn't get round to buying one for myself until fairly recently and I'm really happy to add this to my lipstick collection.
