THE STYLE EDIT: PALM TREES & PINK

This Summer weather is glorious! It's so wonderful to be able to wear my favourite summer outfits and be outside enjoying the garden. In fact I'm writing this sat at my little blue patio table with butterflies flying around the fruit and vegetable plants, which are enjoying the sunshine as much as I am!
I love this summer outfit, it combines so many of my favourites: Pineapples, Palm Trees, Rose Gold, cute summer bag and a pop of colour! The skirt was a great sale find and I love wearing it! The shade of pink is perfect, it just makes me feel summery and care free. A great, versatile piece which I can wear to the office, on holiday or during a lovely leisurely weekend in London. Palm trees just instantly make me feel happy so this off the shoulder top has become a summer staple for me. It also goes really well with denim shorts, so ideal for festivals too. The bag is a gorgeous, cute little summer piece, it makes me think of holidays on the Amalfi coast and the South of France. I fell in love with this straw bag as soon as I saw it a few months ago. However I'm trying to spend sensibly so I was good and refrained, but then recently saw it was half price in the sale and had to snap it up!
Top: H&M, Skirt: Mango, Bag: Michael Kors (out of stock but similar here), Shoes: H&M (out of stock but similar here), Necklace: Estella Bartlett

Review: Calypso Once a Day Sun Lotion

I'm feeling really positive and happy today, I think it must be all the Vitamin D I'm getting! The sun is shining and more than that, it actually feels like Summer here. The weather this weekend in London has been gloriously sunny and warm; I've enjoyed breakfast on the sunny patio and venturing out without having to worry about a jacket, both usually quite rare events.

THE TRAVEL EDIT: EXPLORING LISBON

I'm so excited to have arrived in the Algarve, really looking forward to exploring and some much needed sunshine and relaxation. I would have loved to have extended our holiday with a trip to Lisbon, but unfortunately we may not have enough time on this particular trip. My good friend Ade an I loved our time in Lisbon, such a beautiful city full of culture, friendly people and the most incredible food so I'd love to visit again as so much to discover and our trip also left me really wanting to explore more of Portugal. So as we're not going to Lisbon, this week in Portugal, I thought I'd share my top things to do there instead.

Blueberry Bundt Cake

For me, there’s nothing like a spot of baking on a Sunday to round off the week and put me in the right frame of mind for the week ahead. This morning I was in my garden bright and early picking lots of sweet and juicy Blueberries which I thought would be perfect for a Blueberry Bundt Cake plus I really wanted to get in the kitchen and try out my new Ikea Droömar tin, happy times!

BLOGOSPHERE MAGAZINE'S #LUSHBEAUTYSCHOOL

One of my favourite things to do when I have some chill out time, is to curl up with a cup of chocolate Horlicks (I know, I'm so rock & roll!) and catch up with Blogosphere magazine. I've been reading the magazine since it first launched a few years ago;  it's just cover to cover of blogging inspiration. Since reading the very first issue, one of my top blogging goals has been to one day work with Blogosphere and be in the magazine and it goes to show that sometimes blogging dreams can become reality.
