This last weekend was pretty busy but full of so many fun things and great experiences. The sun was out, well on Friday and Saturday at least, with temperatures reaching a wonderful 29C in London, it was glorious!
On Friday I escaped work early with my friend Kate & we headed down to the Margaret Dabbs Sole Spa in Liberty, where we'd booked in for a manicure & a medical pedicure. I have to say it was the best pedicure I have ever had, so much so I'll be doing a separate blog post on it soon....no feet pictures though I promise. My feet were given the attention they so needed & all the sore spots and problem areas were carefully treated. My feet were left feeling so amazing, happy and healthy.
After some much needed pampering, Kate an I headed to DeHesa, rounding the evening off with some delicious tapas including stuffed courgette flowers, my absolute favourite! It was the perfect girls night to signal the weekend after a tiring working week.
Saturday was lovely, with a leisurely start to the day, enjoying breakfast and the sunshine in the garden before heading to Liverpool Street for a blogging event by Magnet Look at the Andaz Hotel. There was an interesting panel discussion as well as the chance to meet some lovely bloggers and we got to have an exclusive look at the Magnet Look platform which brings fashion, beauty, reviews and shopping all onto one site.

The rest of Saturday was spent enjoying the sunshine with my lovely friend Fiona and having a much needed catch up at The Engineer in Primrose Hill.
By Sunday sadly, the sunshine had disappeared and it was rain, rain, rain, but I didn't let that stop me. Sunday was lovely as I got to spend the day with my Mum and we headed off to explore Hackney and Shoreditch. We made it through the rain to Chatsworth Road Market, where I was on the hunt for Geo-Fleurs after reading all about the amazing cacti and succulents on Stylonylon. I filmed a short video of the market in the rain on Periscope. It was worth braving the rain though, as I found a lovely potted succulent and a gorgeous terrarium. I also signed up to Geo-Fleurs terrarium workshop in October which I'm really excited about. I got completely soaked though, so we took shelter in Eat 17 above Rebel Rebel and where we had a delicious Sunday lunch. Nut roast with Yorkshire pud and roasties was just what I needed to warm up and dry off.
Eat 17 is beautiful, I loved the Art Deco style interior and it was so lovely to have live jazz music as we ate our lunch.
After lunch the sun had come out so we had a good wander around the shops on Chatsworth Road and I managed to find a beautiful vintage teacup and saucer and a palm print dress all for under £10!! We ended the day in Shoreditch, having another little explore, looking at the street art and refueling with some tea and cake at Barber and Parlour.

It was such a lovely weekend! It was good to keep busy by seeing friends and spending some time with my Mum and it was so much fun to explore and discover new areas of my home City.
What's your idea of a perfect weekend?

Hi lovely, yes definitely recommend blogger sale. I picked up the camera bag for less than 10% of the original price and it's a great event to meet up other bloggers.I'd been looking for a nice camera bag for ages and was really happy I found one xx
