DIPTYQUE ROSA MUNDI CANDLE

The Rosa Mundi candle from Diptyque is my all time favourite from their candle range, the scent is beautifully fresh and floral. The candle is often released in a special edition design for Valentine's day and I reviewed it previously here.

This Valentine’s Day, Diptyque has partnered with Antoinette Poisson, a creator and restorer of domino paper. In honor of the romance of Valentine's Day, Antoinette Poisson has been inspired by the Rosa Mundi Rose and designed a floral motif showcasing the two roses featured in this fragrance. I can't get enough of Rose scents at the moment thanks to Byredo's Rose of No Man's Land perfume and the comforting fragrance of the Rosa Mundi candle. I've also got the Diptyque Rose Infused Oil on my wish list.

The candle pairs two of the most exquisite Roses used in perfumery: Damascena, the Damask Rose, and Centifolia, the May Rose. They are celebrated for the variety and richness of their scents. In the top note, the scent contains currants and bergamot which provides freshness. The lychee’s fruitiness complements the rose petals, and geranium brings the natural scents together.......just beautiful!
The design of the candle is stunning,  a lovely edition for the home. I definitely have a weakness when it comes to anything mint green. The Antoinette Poisson Rosa Mundi range is limited edition so make you don't miss out or forget to drop those Valentine's Day hints!
