Although Beauty and The Beast has been out for a little while now, I'd either been away or the film was sold out, but this last weekend I finally got the chance to head to the cinema and spend a few enchanted hours getting caught up in the fairytale of Beauty and The Beast.
To celebrate the release of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Latest In Beauty have launched their limited edition Beauty and the Beast boxes in collaboration. What I love about this offering from Latest In Beauty is that there is something for both men and women.
For men there is The Beast Box an exclusively curated box worth over £100 featuring a range of male grooming products such as Penhaligon's No.33 Face and Beard Scrub and The Refinery Shave Foam Gel.
For men there is The Beast Box an exclusively curated box worth over £100 featuring a range of male grooming products such as Penhaligon's No.33 Face and Beard Scrub and The Refinery Shave Foam Gel.
For women there is The Beauty Box, which is worth over £80 and features a selection of makeup, skincare and haircare products inspired by the fairytale. You can really see the thought which has gone into curating the beauty boxes. In the past I've sometimes found beauty boxes to be a bit hit and miss, but with the Beauty Box every product is amazing, I was excited about everything single thing!
The Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo and the Burt's Bee Lipstick in Blush Basin had me jumping for joy, quite literally. I'd been desperate to try out both of these and now I can see why people have been raving about them. The Burt's Bee Lipstick in Blush Basin is a great neutral everyday shade, but it's more than a lipstick as it's full of moisturising ingredients such as Moringa Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil and Vitamin E which left my lips feeling to give a smooth and hydrated. It's like wearing a lip balm all day plus great colour pay off. The Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo is just as good as I feared it would be (I'm now lusting after the full sized version and wondering if I can justify the full price). The dry shampoo was great for my fine hair, as it refreshed my hair, gave texture to my layers and a bit of a lift. A great product and the perfect size for popping in your handbag.
The Beauty box also contains the Gatineau Radiance Enhancing Gommage exfoliator, Caudalie Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet and a L'Occitane Roses et Reines hand and nail cream which was already a favourite. Gatineau were the first product house to launch an exfoliator back in 1949, with the radiance enhancing exfoliator having years of research and development behind it. The balm-like consistency makes it suitable for those with sensitive skin like me and gives a great complexion boost. The Caudalie Vinosource Sorbet is another great product for sensitive skin. The gel-cream turns into water on contact, helping soothe, moisturise and strengthen the skin. I have this with me in my gym bag kit and it's really been soothing my combination skin.
I was lucky enough to be invited along to the launch of the Beauty and the Beast boxes at the Belgravia Room in The Lanesborough Hotel in London. A stunning location which was perfect for Beauty and the Beast. The whole event from the handwritten invites complete with wax seal, the canapés and champagne reception in a beautiful venue to the beauty treatments on offer, made us all feel like we were in a fairy tale for the evening.
It was lovely being pampered after a busy day at work. The hand and arm massage from L'Occitane was incredible, my hands were left feeling soft and hydrated and I felt revived! Then it was time for a manicure by the french brand Soigné. I'm already a fan of their polishes as the colours are gorgeous and the formula doesn't chip easily, so I was very happy to find a beautiful classic red Soigné polish in the Beauty box.
With Latest In Beauty you can treat yourself to a beautiful one-off collection box such as the Harpers Bazaar or Red Skincare edit or if you subscribe to the monthly beauty box, you can choose 3, 6 or 9 products to try each month from brands like Nuxe, Omorovicza, Nude Skincare, Jurlique and the The White Company in a personalised build-your-own box, all with free delivery so you don't have to worry about beauty box products which aren't suitable for you.
