HOUSE OF FRASER HOME COLLECTION AW16*

For anyone who has seen or follows my Pinterest account you'll know that lately I'm pretty  much homewear and interiors obsessed. I really can't help it there are just so many beautiful looks, styles and homewear items I'd love have in my home and that was very much the case at the House of Fraser Home AW16 preview. So many lovely things to feast your eyes on and the best bit is they're all available now and there's a homeware sale!!
The Living by Christiane Lemieux strickenly features rich Autumnal hues of oranges and mustard yellow. The collection takes inspiration from nature, art deco and a mid century style that create an eclectic mix of exclusive modern designs. I'm very much lusting after the mid-centruy style desk, it'd be perfect for blogging!
The Biba range is always the most decadent collection, this Winter featuring lots of plush velvet, the signature black and gold designs but with deep Aquamarine tones too.
Such beautiful clean lines in the Casa Couture collection. Casa Couture's designers believe that the way your home makes you feel is as important as the way it looks, so calming shades and comforting textures have been used to give every room style, comfort and a contemporary feel. The Collection offers 600 thread count bed linen, smart dinnerware and generously proportioned upholstery for  luxury, while beautiful, quilted silk and cashmere throws are combined with natural horn and marble accessories to create comfort and calm within the home.
Much of the Fraser Home collection invokes in me what the Danes would call 'hygge'. Pronounced a bit like 'hooga', this Danish coined phrase can simply be translated as 'cosiness' in English. Apparently the reason that the Danes are considered the happiest people in the world is down to 'hygge'. I definitely want some of that as I gear up for Autumn and Winter. The cosy cushions and sheepskin rugs of the Linea 'Natures Collage' collection and the thick woollen blankets & cushions against this gorgeous marble and copper lamp from my favourite; the Grey and Willow Home designs just make me feel snug and happy just looking at them. Wouldn't you just love to sink into this bed after a long cold Winter's day?! I think I'd be tempted to just hibernate there, curled up tea, a good read and Netflix.
The home collection still has elements of Shabby Chic and I love this little sofa, perfect for bedroom lounging.
The colours, design and atmosphere in the Dickens and Jones home range just made me think of cosy farmhouses and huge family meals at this incredible dinner table; a perfect Winter holiday or even Christmas. Can we also just take a moment to admire the beautiful copper cutlery, ooh I need this in my life.
I loved the 'Light Wall' at the event. I was challenged to pick my favourite light design and I have to admit I struggled to pick just one. The geometric 'Lexi' design, the exposed bulb style of the 'Electra' and the Scandi style of the 'Leon' were all equally stunning to me. Which one is your favourite?
The eclectic Linea Global Artisan collection, a lovely combination of art deco monochrome, rotten baskets and tribal prints inspired by global designs and cultures.
I hope that's given you lots of home and interiors inspiration. I've love to hear what your favourite designs from the House of Fraser AW16 Home collection are.
